We are a group of young, progressive, and corporate-free students running for city council seats all across Orange County.

Building a sustainable future | Uniting to end homelessness | Expanding affordable housing

Cenk Uygur of The Young Turks speaks with Mahmoud El-Farra, Jake Rybczyk, and Perry Meade of the Orange County Students For City Council about their efforts to elect more progressive young people to public office.

How often do city council campaigns gain national attention? Not often… That’s where we stand out; our progressive slate has been featured in the Los Angeles Times on three separate occasions within the last month, we were interviewed on The Young Turks, and youth activist David Hogg recently tweeted about the movement that we are leading in Orange County to his nearly 900,000 followers.
